The Circle is Open, but Never Broken

I never had a lot of close girlfriends growing up.
Teammates, yes.  And tons of acquaintances in small-town living.
Two brothers and a generally awkward, in-between tomboy and grunge phase...
Usually one or two close friend(s) at a time.
Aside from my mother, never more than that, in terms of women that I could count on.

This pattern repeated itself throughout my twenties and well into my thirties.

I find so many women that are afraid of each others' power.  I'm saddened by it, and honestly, have just avoided the situation, socially-speaking.

But now.
NOW there is a shift.
This year has brought with it an abundance of strong women that I admire.
That I want to learn with.
That I want to learn FROM.
Not competing with one another...
Not trying to stifle the others to lift themselves higher...
Just strong, creative, passionate women supporting each other.
Talking to each other.
Laughing and crying together.

Healers
Witches
Goddesses
Priestesses

Wow.
